The following statement has been issued in response to current media speculation about a possible offer made to the Trust to purchase Notts County Football Club.
The Board of the Notts County Supporters Trust would like to make it absolutely clear that it has not received either an informal or formal bid for the club, is not in discussions with anyone regarding a formal bid for the Club, and further, is not expecting any formal bid for the Club at this point.
We would also reiterate that were we ever to receive any such offer, felt to be in the long-term interests of Notts County Football Club, we would bring it to the membership of the Trust and fellow shareholders to decide.
We will, at this stage, be issuing no further response to this speculation.
